It’s hard to believe December has already come and gone! We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and a joyful holiday season. December was a busy and exciting month here at Discoveries, filled with fun traditions, creativity, and plenty of festive cheer.

The Elf on the Shelf made surprise appearances in several classrooms, keeping little eyes wide with excitement. In The Mustangs, things got extra festive when The Elf, Snoop Dogg, and Martha all showed up, yes, on the mantel. Clearly, they know where the party is.

Every class stayed busy creating special Christmas gifts for parents (cue the happy tears). The Mustangs also put on a Christmas program for families, and it was a GREAT turnout. Thank you to everyone who came out to support our students!
Our classrooms looked amazing, too. Each one decorated their bulletin boards for Christmas, transforming the school into a winter wonderland.

All classrooms hosted Christmas parties, and the kids had an absolute blast. Activities included book exchanges, candy cane hunts, and even snowball fights, no frostbite required. Meanwhile, our Discoveries staff enjoyed a well-earned hot chocolate and cookie potluck (arguably the most important event of the season ☕🍪).
Finally, a HUGE thank you to everyone who donated to help fill the trailer for the Humane Society. Your generosity truly makes a difference, and we are so grateful for our amazing Discoveries community.
Thank you for another wonderful month; we’re excited for what the new year brings!
