Over the last few months, we have had quite the fun. Between many students moving up, and new students coming in, our center has been full of joy. We have had many dress-up days, as well as many field trips for our kiddos before school started.
Our graduating class had Muffins with Moms and Donuts with Dads, alongside their Pre-K Graduation. At Muffins with Moms, students share muffins and juice, while coloring a pretty picture, alongside their family members. At Donuts with Dads, students share milk and donuts while listening to music and playing games. At Pre-K graduation, students received a diploma as well as some rocking accessories that went with the theme, Hollywood Stars. Alongside the diploma is a picture of them in a cap and gown.
During Fire Safety Week, the BLM Fire Department came out with a fire truck and backpack water sprayers. The children were able to climb in the truck and play with the things inside. They each got multiple turns to spray water and even aimed at water bottles. They also got to see some of the other tools that are used in wildland fires.
Coming up, we will be holding a Fall Festival, where we shut down the entire parking lot. Each classroom has its own booths with a game and candy. Students and teachers dress up, play games, and have lots of fun. For this festival, we will have hot dogs and popcorn as well.
We look forward to keeping you updated and informed on all the fun activities that go on.
