After a restful two-week Christmas break, January was a slower month as everyone eased back into the routine at Discovery Preschool. The classrooms took time to reconnect, settle back into learning, and get ready for all the fun activities ahead.
February, however, was a different story — it was packed with excitement from start to finish!

The month kicked off with a little friendly competition as the children made their predictions for who would win the Super Bowl. To celebrate the big game, the school held a Super Bowl party complete with pizza, drinks, and cookies. The students had a great time cheering, celebrating, and enjoying a festive day together.
Valentine’s Day brought even more joy to the classrooms. Each class hosted its own Valentine’s Day party where the children exchanged Valentine cards with their friends. It was a sweet celebration filled with kindness, sharing, and lots of smiles.
The Mustangs class also took part in a special project called “Hearts Around America.” Students sent Valentine cards to all 50 states, as well as Malaysia and Canada. The response was incredible — the class received more than 90 postcards, cards, and virtual messages in return! It was an exciting way for the children to connect with people around the world while learning about geography and community.
To finish off the month, Discovery Preschool hosted its own Winter Olympics celebration. The classes learned about different winter sports and explored events like hockey, curling, and skiing. Curling quickly became a favorite among the Mustangs! The students even watched some Olympic events together and talked about what athletes do to prepare for competition.
It was a busy and fun-filled month at Discovery Preschool, full of learning, celebrations, and memorable experiences.
