The month of January was great! All the classes got to wind down from the busy month
before. It was time to get back on track, after having Christmas break. Back to learning how to
cut, hold a writing utensil properly, paint, and help with classroom cleanup. Our days are
filled with fun crafts, winter centers, stories, lots of dancing and learning through play.
The Mustang Pre-K class has been focusing on learning about ten frames, tally marks,
number words, and number objects. When reading books, we talk about key details in the story
to encourage conversation and comprehension. We have also started practicing for our May
graduation, it takes a while to put together a graduation with 4-5 year olds. They are doing
extremely well learning their graduation song this year. More graduation information will be
coming in April.
