The month of December kept our kiddos busy. We discussed different Christmas traditions and shared with our friends what we do during the holiday season.
The kids made Christmas presents and cards for their parents. It is so much fun watching them create their own projects. Our kiddos are so creative and love making presents for their parents.
Thanks to all who donated to fill the trailer for the Humane Society, we really appreciate it. We were able to help a lot of animals. If you still would like to donate, you can drop it off at the Humane Society anytime during its hours of operation. They are always in need of dog and cat food.
Some rooms had an Elf on the Shelf that moved around daily. The Mustangs had an Elf on the Shelf, a Snoop on the Stoop, and a Martha on the Mantle, I bet you can imagine what kind of mischief those three got into.
Each of the classrooms had Christmas parties. Ms. Nancy in The Mustangs made pancakes with whipped cream and sprinkles on top. Two days before Christmas the Grinch showed up, he spent some time with Icicle our Elf. The Mustangs planted mint TIc Tac in the garden to see if we could grow Candy canes. And it worked!!!!!! The kids got to go out and pull the candy canes out of the ground. On New Year’s Eve some of our classes celebrated New Year’s Eve with balloons, hats, party horns, and dance parties. We are all looking forward to what the New Year brings!
